EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER:
TRAINING & EQUIPPING NIGHTS
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
We're facilitating three different teachings and discussions you can be a part of. Our hope is that these evenings will stir your faith and help you grow in Christ! We're asking that you pick one class and stick with it for the weeks ahead. No sign ups are required; simply come! The class options are below. Childcare will be available from ages 2 to 5th grade.

BIBLICAL CITIZENSHIP
Thursday, September 5 and 12
Take a journey through the Bible and American history to discover why a prosperous society can come about when Biblical principles are applied, as well as what your role in that endeavor is. This course will provide Biblical, historical, and Constitutional instruction for our lives today. Being "biblical citizens" requires knowledge of biblical principles and this course will show you how to apply such things to your neighborhood, state, and nation!
CHURCH ANNIVERSARY PICNIC + SOFTBALL
Sunday, September 8
We’re celebrating Heart of the Father's 14th anniversary with a special morning church service here at the church building, then afterward we’ll be heading to Peterson Park for a cookout and game of softball together! We’ll meet at the park from 12-3 PM, so feel free to bring a change of clothes to church so you can quickly change and head to the park after the service ends.
The church will provide the main food for our potluck lunch, so we're kindly asking that you bring some extra food items according to your last name to help fill out the spread:
A-E = desserts
F-K = drinks
L-Z = sides
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Saturday, September 14 from 8:45-10:45 AM
Are you or someone you know in need of food items? We’re distributing free groceries right here in the Heart of the Father parking lot once a month. The distribution times are from 8:45 to 10:45 AM.
If you'd like to volunteer to help us distribute food please arrive at 7:45 AM.
EXALT JESUS MARCH
Saturday, September 28 at 9 AM at Munn Park
Our goal for this event is to see the churches of Lakeland unite in public worship together and in the proclamation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This is a free event, but if you would like to help volunteer for certain helpful roles, you can do so via the sign up button.
